Quantum of Solace

Daniel Craig continues to smolder with sex and rage as James Bond in this 22nd installment in the series, but Quantum’s villain is nothing but a skinny piece of Eurotrash whose big plot is basically to raise people’s water bills. What this film needs is an orbiting death ray and a bad guy with a drill for a hand.

Happy-Go-Lucky

By admin On November 17th, 2008 in Bill's Review /

Can the relentlessly cheerful Polly, a 30-year-old London schoolteacher, maintain her optimism in the face of life’s challenges, including the world’s angriest driving instructor, without becoming discouraged? This is an odd movie, sometimes sappy and exasperating, sometimes funny and sweet, but somehow always believable.
