SKAR Advertising of Omaha is pleased to announce that Andrea Gourley, art director, has been awarded a national Student Gold ADDY in the Student, Packaging category for her creation of promotional materials for “The Mix” Vinyl Records, a fictitious record company with a retrospective theme.The award was officially announced during the national Student Gold ADDY Awards dinner held June 12 in Orlando, Fla.
Gourley created the designs while a student at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Shortly after her graduation in May 2009 she accepted an internship with SKAR and was hired as a full-time art director in August 2009.
